The Product
Our sunnless tanning uses DHA or Dihydroxactone. When DHA is applied to the skin by our Technicians,
a brown tan form in 2 to 3 hours. The tan continues to darken for approximatly 6 hours. The tan can be a quite pleasing
dark tan. The tan is absolutely warter resistant and fades off in 5 to 7 days as dead skin cells flake off. The tan does
not absorb UV light and therefore will not protect you against sun burn like regular tanning. DHA is a food grade product
an approved by the FDA. DHA has no detrimental effects to the body when applied tropically to the skin. DHA is also used in
many weight loss products.
Preparing for that "just off the beach
color".
We suggest you exfoliate a mininmum of 24 hours before your session
to remove any dead or flaking skin that will make you tan uneven. We can spray your skin with Renew, a sprayable exfoliant
that makes your skin feel silky while removing impurities from the skin.
Your should use an oil free, low PH soap, to clean your
skin. You may want to try an oil free exfoliant shower gel. Never apply perfumes or lotions before tanning.
Tight clothes may rub off the DHA bronzer so loose fitting clothes
is best. Solution that may rub off into your clothing will wash out in the laundry.
The majority of color will appear in four to six hours but the process
actually continues for 24 hours. You should not swim for eight to twelve hours after your session. You may shower to stop
the process when you achieve the darkness you desire. Getting wet while the spray is fresh may result in spots. This
includes rain or persperation.
